We are looking for a Senior Materials & Corrosion Engineers with minimum 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

The candidate should have proven experience in Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and/or Detailed Engineering Design (DED) and Concept Select of medium to large scale projects. Good knowledge and understanding of the most prevalent degradation mechanisms in the Oil & Gas Industry and relevant corrosion mitigation strategies. Key responsibilities will include preparation of FEED/Detailed Engineering Design philosophies/Design Basis, Material Selection Reports, Material Selection Diagrams, Corrosion Control Documents, etc. Good knowledge and experience in Cathodic Protection deliverables.

Key Skills & Technical Competencies:

  • BSc. /B.Eng. Degree Materials, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas Engineering Projects.
  • Experience and knowledge in Materials & Corrosion deliverables in FEED & Detailed Engineering Design Phases.
  • Good knowledge of Cathodic Protection (FEED & DED) deliverables - CP certification will be an advantage.
  • Experience on Middle East projects is important for the role.
  • Previous experience in any of the ADNOC projects is an added advantage.

Core Competencies

  • Knowledge of materials behaviors and corrosion analysis
  • Experience in materials selection for Oil and Gas assets
  • Use of industry recognized software for corrosion rate analysis
  • High level of experience in pipeline integrity assessments based on industry standards (DNVGL-RP-F101, ASME B31G, ISO 12747)
  • Familiar with reviewing inspection data (DCVG, CIP’s ILI)
  • Track record of conducting pipeline FFS and life extension studies.
