Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain telecommunications systems for offshore oil and gas operations.

Ensure the seamless integration of telecommunications systems, including radio, satellite, fiber optics, and communication equipment.

Collaborate with offshore and onshore teams to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and prepare technical specifications for telecommunications infrastructure.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telecommunications networks and systems.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Provide technical support during the construction, commissioning, and operational phases of offshore projects.

Develop and maintain system documentation, including network layouts and user manuals.
Requirements:
- Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 15 years of experience in telecommunications engineering within the oil and gas industry, including offshore experience.

Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems, including satellite communication, radio, fiber optics, and networking.

Experience with design, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure in harsh offshore environments.

Proficiency in relevant software and tools for telecommunications design and troubleshooting.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage projects from design through to implementation.
