We are seeking a highly experienced Specialist Piping Engineer with extensive experience in upstream projects. The role will be office-based and involves leading piping engineering activities, ensuring design integrity, compliance with standards, and supporting project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee piping engineering design for upstream oil & gas projects
• Review and approve piping layouts, isometrics, and stress analysis
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, international codes, and project specifications
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, mechanical, civil, instrumentation)
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Support project execution, procurement, and construction phases
• Review vendor documents and manage technical queries (TQs)
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, and model reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Minimum 18+ years of experience in oil & gas, with strong upstream exposure
• Proven experience working on ADNOC projects
• Strong knowledge of piping design, materials, and stress analysis
• Familiarity with international codes (ASME, API, etc.)
• Experience with engineering software/tools (e.g., CAESAR II, PDMS/E3D)
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
