Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Lifting Operations Specialist to lead and supervise complex and critical lifting activities in offshore oil and gas environments. The ideal candidate will bring over 18 years of hands-on experience in lifting, rigging, and crane operations, with a proven track record of safe and efficient execution in high-risk, offshore conditions.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, supervise, and execute lifting operations in compliance with international standards (LOLER, API RP 2D, BS 7121).

Prepare and review Lifting Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments for all offshore lifting activities.

Ensure all lifting equipment is certified and fit for use, coordinate with inspection teams.

Lead safety briefings and toolbox talk prior to every lifting operation.

Provide technical guidance on selection of lifting gear, rigging configurations, and crane capacities.

Manage and train riggers, crane operators, and lifting crew members offshore.

Interface with project, construction, and HSE teams to ensure safe execution during shutdowns, installations, or decommissioning campaigns.

Maintain documentation and logs for audits, incidents, and daily activities.
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering

18+ Years of experience in the Oil&Gas industry

Lifting Supervisor / LOLER Appointed Person Certification

OPITO BOSIET / FOET (valid offshore survival certification)
-
Rigging & Slinging (Level 3 or equivalent)

H2S, Confined Space Entry, Working at Height (as required)

NEBOSH / IOSH (preferred)
