Specialist Engineer - Static (Offshore)
Job Summary:
Responsible for providing specialist mechanical engineering support for offshore projects, focusing on static equipment, wellhead towers, subsea cable and piping systems, and brownfield modifications.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and review mechanical design and engineering for static equipment (vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, etc.).

Provide technical support for offshore wellhead towers, subsea cable routing, and piping systems.

Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and constructability studies.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety requirements.

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project teams.

Support modification, upgrade, and brownfield project activities.

Review vendor documents and ensure technical integrity in all mechanical deliverables.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering - static for oil and gas projects.

Strong experience in offshore projects, especially wellhead towers, subsea systems, and brownfield work.

Good knowledge of relevant international codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.).

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
