Senior Project Engineer 

Abu Dhabi

We are seeking an experienced PMC Senior Project Engineer to join our PMC team for a major Upstream project. The role is responsible for coordinating and managing multidisciplinary engineering activities, ensuring the successful execution of the project from engineering through construction and commissioning while meeting project objectives for safety, quality, cost, and schedule.

The ideal candidate must possess practical working experience in Early Production Facilities (EPF) and Upstream Oil & Gas projects, with mandatory experience in Front-End Engineering (Concept/Pre-FEED), Detailed Engineering, and EPC project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor engineering progress and ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with project schedules, technical requirements, and quality standards.
• Review engineering deliverables submitted by EPC contractors and ensure compliance with ADNOC specifications, project requirements, and international standards.
• Interface with engineering disciplines, procurement, construction, commissioning, vendors, and the Client to ensure seamless project execution.
• Coordinate technical reviews, design workshops, HAZOP, HAZID, constructability reviews, model reviews, and value engineering activities.
• Identify project risks, technical issues, and schedule impacts, and develop effective mitigation plans.
• Monitor engineering changes, technical deviations, and interface issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical bid evaluations, material requisitions, and vendor documentation.
• Provide engineering support during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and project handover.
• Monitor project progress against cost and schedule objectives and provide regular status reports to Project Management.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE requirements, quality standards, and project procedures.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely decision-making throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline from a recognized university.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Professional Engineering registration is an advantage.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• At least 10 years in Project Engineering roles within PMC, Engineering Consultancy, or EPC organizations.
• Mandatory practical working experience in Early Production Facilities (EPF) and Upstream Oil & Gas projects.
• Mandatory experience in Front-End Engineering, FEED, Detailed Engineering, and EPC phases of Oil & Gas projects.
• Previous ADNOC or other major Middle East operator project experience is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting projects through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
