Senior Mechanical Engineer (Offshore)
Key Responsibilities:

Lead mechanical engineering activities for offshore oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Provide expertise in FEED and detailed design for mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, pressure vessels, and other offshore equipment.

Review and validate mechanical designs, ensuring they are cost-effective, safe, and meet project requirements.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical systems with other project components.

Oversee the selection, specification, and procurement of mechanical equipment and materials.

Ensure that all mechanical design work adheres to relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations to support design decisions.

Monitor the progress of engineering design work, providing technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and project teams.

Prepare and review technical reports, design documentation, and project deliverables.

Provide on-site engineering support during installation, commissioning, and operation phases.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

At least 15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with significant experience in offshore projects.

Strong background in FEED and detailed design for mechanical systems in offshore facilities.

Proficient in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

Solid understanding of mechanical equipment, systems, and materials used in offshore oil and gas operations.

In-depth knowledge of international design codes and standards for offshore oil and gas engineering.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
