Overview:
Provide technical assurance and review of EPC contractor deliverables related to materials and corrosion protection. Evaluate corrosion control strategies, material selection diagrams (MSDs), painting and coating specifications, and cathodic protection design. Review EPC contractor’s corrosion studies and ensure compliance with applicable standards (NACE, API, ISO). Participate in material selection workshops, vendor bid evaluations, and design reviews. Support site inspections related to corrosion and coating application. Verify proper implementation of corrosion monitoring systems and documentation. Provide recommendations to enhance material integrity and lifecycle performance of project facilities.
Years of experience required:
Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years of them within the field of Corrosion Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
(Asset integrity -corrosion ) is a must.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or closely related Engineering discipline with special studies in Corrosion/Materials/Metallurgic.
The job location will be based on Alkhafji , Saudi Arabia.
