Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing and executing all marine engineering activities at the offshore site. Provides technical expertise and guidance in marine operations, vessel management, and offshore construction support to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate marine operations, including vessel positioning, mooring, towing, and offshore installation activities.

• Ensure compliance with marine safety standards, class requirements, and company procedures.

• Provide technical support for marine equipment, systems, and interfaces with subsea and topside operations.

• Review and approve marine engineering calculations, procedures, and method statements.

• Monitor contractor and vessel performance during offshore campaigns.

• Liaise with project, HSE, and operations teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of work.

• Lead troubleshooting, inspection, and maintenance activities related to marine assets.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in marine/offshore engineering within the oil and gas industry.

• Strong knowledge of offshore installation methods, dynamic positioning systems, and vessel operations.

• Familiarity with international marine regulations, IMO standards, and class society requirements.

• Offshore certification (BOSIET / HUET) preferred.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
