The Senior Loss Prevention Engineer may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMT project team environment. The Senior Loss Prevention Engineer shall be responsible for the following tasks.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure Pre FEED/EPC Preliminary Hazard Assessment recommendations are included in FEED/EPC deliverables.
2. Check, review and approve all technical safety deliverables by FEED/EPC contractor.
3. Review and approve Fire Water network calculation and fire water demand
4. Review and approve Fire & Gas detection systems
5. Review and approve passive fire protection systems
6. Review and approve fire water tanks, pumps, water mist systems
Knowledge / Experience (Skills):
- At least Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years of them within the field of Safety / Loss prevention for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects; or closely related project types.
- PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
- Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.
- Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related Engineering discipline.
The job location will be based in Al Khafji , Saudi Arabia.
