We are currently looking for Senior/Lead Procurement Engineers to be based in Abu Dhabi location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the procurement process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Develop and maintain procurement strategies and plans in alignment with project requirements and timelines.
  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective procurement.
  • Coordinate with project teams, engineering, and construction groups to ensure alignment and effective communication of procurement requirements.
  • Review and approve procurement documentation, including RFQs, technical bids, and supplier quotations.
  • Monitor procurement progress and resolve any issues or delays in material deliveries.
  • Manage and track procurement budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC and other regulatory and contractual standards and requirements.
  • Lead the procurement team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and staff.
  • Participate in risk management activities and ensure risk mitigation strategies are in place for procurement activities.

Job Description

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of procurement experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • At least 5 years of experience in offshore projects.
  • Proven experience working in a PMC role and delivering successful procurement strategies for large-scale projects.
  • Previous experience with ADNOC projects is a strong advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier management.
  • Proficiency with procurement software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
