Job Summary
The Senior Construction Engineer (Civil) is responsible for planning, supervising, coordinating, and technically controlling civil/structural construction activities on offshore platforms, jackets, offshore substations or associated facilities.
The role ensures full compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements, with strong focus on offshore oil & gas project execution.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise offshore civil construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedule.
- Ensure construction activities comply with project specifications, approved procedures, and HSE requirements.
- Plan daily/weekly construction activities and allocate manpower, equipment, materials, and work fronts.
- Coordinate construction sequences with structural, mechanical, piping, E&I, commissioning, marine, and operations teams.
- Monitor productivity and identify constraints affecting progress.
- Review IFC drawings, civil/structural calculations, specifications, and construction details.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline

15+ years of experience in relevant discipline within oil & gas projects

Proven experience in offshore projects (platforms, FPSO, offshore construction, or drilling support)

Strong knowledge of international HSE standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)

Familiar with offshore safety regulations and permit systems

Excellent communication and leadership skills
