Project Assistant

Qualifications: Engineering (Business Management, Industrial, Chemical, Petroleum, or related) or a Bachelor’s degree in Administration with technical experience.

 

Knowledge / Experiencie (Skills):

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in industrial projects, preferably in the energy sector or engineering services.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power BI, among others).
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project).
  • Basic knowledge of PMBOK methodologies (desirable).
  • Intermediate to advanced level of English

Responsibilities:

• Document Management: Prepare, organize, and file technical files, contracts, meeting minutes, and progress reports.

• Schedule Control: Monitor the completion of programs and tasks assigned to the team, alerting them to potential deviations in timelines.

• Financial Support: Manage purchase orders, control project expenses, track invoices, and assist in budget preparation.

• Operational Logistics: Coordinate transportation, per diems, access to work sites, and ensure that personnel have the necessary resources and equipment. • KPI Monitoring: Gather data for updating performance indicators (dashboards) and prepare executive presentations of results.

• Operating Cost Monitoring: Daily tracking of man-hours (MH), on-site material consumption, and control of specialized equipment rentals.

• Tender Support: Gather technical and administrative information for integrating economic and technical proposals in bidding processes.

• Generate information for REPSE compliance.

• Report the closure of each project to QHSE.
