We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team on a site-based position for an ongoing oil and gas project. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for construction and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure that project milestones are met in a timely manner.
• Monitor and track project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and update progress reports, highlighting key performance metrics and project status.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment and efficient workflow.
• Participate in project meetings, providing valuable insights into schedule management and planning.
• Review and assess the impact of changes in the project scope on the overall schedule.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards during all project phases.
• Provide expertise in identifying critical path items and managing project timelines.
• Assist in risk analysis and mitigation strategies related to project schedules.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent).
• At least 10 years of experience in oil and gas projects, with significant involvement in construction and commissioning.
• Strong experience with planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and construction processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic site environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
