We are currently looking for a Pipeline Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi location.

Main Purpose of the Role

Core Engineering Role to produce the volume of engineering activities on projects and within the business as required.  

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

Essential

• 6 -10 years of Oil & Gas Design Experience.

Advantage

• Previous experience in the Region

Technical Knowledge and Skills (Discipline Specific):

• Knowledge of basic engineering processes
• Familiarity with international codes, standards and engineering practices
• Must be familiar with all aspects of design from concept to detailed design
• Technical analysis of engineering problems
• Feasibility studies, conceptual design, FEED, detail design, procurement support, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Familiarity with international codes, standards and industry guidelines such as ASME, API, BS, DIN, ASTM, IP, AGA, ISO, NACE, DEP etc.
• Preparation of reports, calculations, specifications, datasheets, route selection/survey and preparation of route maps and alignment drawings.
• Must have a sound technical knowledge of wall thickness, buoyancy, buckling and pipe laying calculations, process design and preparation of PFDs and P&IDs, hydraulic analysis, line and equipment sizing, road crossing design, calculations and drawings.
• Previous experience in hydraulic analysis, pipe support design, culvert design, pipe stressing, catHead of the Departmentic protection design, material selection, hot tap and stoppling (design and/or field supervision an added advantage), preparation of WPS, hydrotesting design, calculations and field involvement.
• Must have a ability to prepare engineering deliverables as per company technical competency standards

• MS Office
• CAESAR II and/or Autopipe
• PipeSim, Pipephase or Pipeline Studio
• AutoCAD
• MathCAD
