Lead Planning Engineer
Key Responsibilities:

Lead planning and scheduling activities for onshore oil and gas projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules for FEED and detail engineering phases.

Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and other project teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve potential scheduling conflicts.

Conduct critical path analysis and identify any potential delays, providing solutions and mitigation plans.

Report on project progress to senior management, highlighting risks, changes, and any impacts to the project schedule.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior planning engineers and support their professional development.

Ensure the use of industry-standard project planning tools and methodologies.
Job Description
Required Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field).

Minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry

Strong experience in Feed and Detail Engineering projects.

In-depth knowledge of planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.

Demonstrated experience in project controls, particularly in the context of large-scale engineering and construction projects.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver results on time.
