Lead Piping Engineer - Site
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Piping Engineer for a key role in managing piping engineering activities on-site. The ideal candidate will have 17 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, including substantial experience in EPC projects, PMC roles, and hands-on construction/site work. The candidate should have specific expertise in ADNOC projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the piping engineering team on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, standards, and timelines.
- Oversee and provide technical guidance on all piping design, construction, and installation activities.
- Coordinate with the project management team, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless execution of project deliverables.
- Review and approve piping design, material, and equipment specifications as per project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases.
Key Requirements:
- 17+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry with a focus on piping engineering.
- Proven experience in EPC projects, specifically in the execution and management of piping engineering activities.
- Experience in a PMC role, providing technical oversight and ensuring quality delivery.
- Hands-on experience in construction/site activities related to piping installation, welding, and testing.
- In-depth knowledge of ADNOC project specifications, standards, and procedures.
- Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Relevant certifications in piping engineering and safety management.
