Penspen www.penspen.com are looking for a dynamic Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Technician
Main Purpose of Role:
The E&I Lead Technician is responsible for delivering high-quality electrical and instrumentation (E&I) maintenance across high-pressure (HP) gas network assets. The role ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with client specifications and regulatory standards.
In addition to hands-on maintenance, the role includes responsibility for supervising a technician, conducting audits, and producing clear, accurate technical reports to support compliance and performance monitoring.

Financial Dimensions:
- Ensure all timesheets submitted
- Ensure all quotes are in line with Penspen financial reporting policy
Key Performance Indicators:
- Jobs completed on time and within agreed schedules
- No return visits required within 2 weeks of job completion
- All audits completed and submitted within 2 days
- OH&S Metrics as issued by line manager
- First-time fix rate achieved in line with contract expectations
- Compliance audit scores maintained in line with client requirements
- Productivity and utilisation targets met as defined by the business
