Penspen www.penspen.com are looking for a dynamic Lead Construction Engineer (Offshore; HVAC) for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage offshore construction teams, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Oversee the installation, hookup, and commissioning of offshore facilities such as platforms, pipelines, and subsea structures.
• Ensure all construction activities align with project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve construction-related challenges and ensure engineering standards are met.
• Review and approve construction drawings, procedures, and method statements.
• Deliver FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) constructability reviews and reports for offshore scopes.
• Enforce strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards during all offshore operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for high-risk activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and client representatives to align construction goals.
• Facilitate daily briefings, progress reviews, and reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement hookup strategies and offshore construction plans.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to address delays or unforeseen issues.

 Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree Engineering in relevant discipline from accredited university.
• Minimum 18 to 20+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 to 8+ years in offshore project.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in similar position.
• Preferred experience from Top Oil & Gas Operators/ PMC/ EPC Background.
• GCC experience is mandatory, preferably within ADNOC Group companies.
• PMC experience will be preferred
• Previous experience in the ADNOC projects in the similar role would be an added advantage
