Lead Construction Engineer (Offshore)

Penspen is urgently looking for Lead Construction Engineer (Offshore) for one of our prestigious PMC projects in UAE.

Qualification Required

  • The candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage offshore construction teams, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee the installation, hookup, and commissioning of offshore facilities such as platforms, pipelines, and subsea structures.
  • Ensure all construction activities align with project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance to resolve construction-related challenges and ensure engineering standards are met.
  • Review and approve construction drawings, procedures, and method statements.
  • Deliver FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) constructability reviews and reports for offshore scopes.
  • Enforce strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards during all offshore operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for high-risk activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and client representatives to align construction goals.
  • Facilitate daily briefings, progress reviews, and reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement hookup strategies and offshore construction plans.
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans to address delays or unforeseen issues.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Minimum 15-20+ years of extensive offshore oil and gas construction experience, especially in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environment
  • Manage in FEED, Detailed design, SIMOPS and optimization solution of construction
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with regional regulations and offshore construction practices.
  • PMC experience will be preferred
  • Previous experience in the ADNOC Offshore projects in the similar role would be an added advantage
