A Construction Superintendent (Lifting) is a senior site role responsible for leading safe crane and lifting operations, developing lifting plans, and managing subcontractors to meet project schedules and safety standards
Qualification & Experience required
- An Engineering Degree from any recognized university.
- Minimum 17+ years of experience in which at least 5-10 years in the oil and gas industry on similar role.
- experience in construction, specifically in crane management, rigging, and heavy lifting.
- Certification in Lifting Supervision such as LEEA.
- Strong knowledge of crane safe working loads (SWL), lifting gear maintenance, and lifting regulations.
- Have an extensive lifting and Rigging International Standards knowledge like ASME, OHSA and LOLER Regulations.
- Must have working knowledge and interpretation skills of lifting drawing and calculations and provide guidance to subcontractors. Capable of reviewing and approving lift plans/studies, rigging & lifting procedures. Also, able to generate project lifting & rigging procedures when necessary.
- Have general knowledge in the inspection of lifting gears and equipment like overhead cranes, gantry, davit arms winches and others.
- Previous experience in the ADNOC project
