Sr. Engineer - QA/QC (Mech)-Offshore

Penspen is urgently looking for Senior Engineer - QA/QC (Mech) for one of our Offshore PMC projects in UAE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all mechanical works comply with project specifications, codes, and standards (API, ASME, ISO).
  • Review and approve ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), method statements, and QA/QC procedures.
  • Conduct site inspections for piping, equipment installation, welding, and mechanical completion.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
  • Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams on quality matters.
  • Witness and verify testing activities (hydrotest, pneumatic test, etc.)
  • Perform and witness inspections, testing, FAT/SAT, calibration, loop checks, and pre-commissioning activities.
  • Monitor contractor and vendor quality performance, including vendor inspections and subcontractor compliance.
  • Manage quality documentation, inspection records, and final handover dossiers, coordinating with construction and commissioning teams.

Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 15 to 18+ years in mechanical QA/QC experience in offshore Oil & Gas.
  • Minimum 5–10+ years in Offshore projects is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of Welding Engineering, NDE Method, Mechanical equipment standards, offshore construction quality
  • Proven track record in PMC or client-side roles, especially within ADNOC or similar environments
  • Previous experience in the ADNOC projects in the similar role would be an added advantage.
